YESTERDAY, South Africa's first-ever Oscar nominated film, received South Africa's first-ever Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Made for Television Movie" category. This was announced on Thursday, July 6, 2006.
The Emmy Awards Ceremony will take place on Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and will be boradcast live in South Africa on Movie Magic on Monday morning August 28, 2006.
Also, on June 5, 2006, Yesterday was presented the Peabody Award by the University of Georgia`s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
